Shipping & Delivery

Domestic

Standard shipping 49kr. The additional environmental shipping fee +15kr on the regular shipping price applies even for free shipping. Home delivery 99kr.

Free shipping on orders over 550kr (650kr for Home Delivery). Orders are shipped domestically with Instabee (Box), DHL (agency), or PostNord (agency & home delivery).

If you choose "Pick Up Yourself," you can collect your package on weekdays between 08:00-16:30 at Umara, Backa Strandgata 14, 422 46 Hisings Backa. If you want to ensure that we are available, please call the warehouse at phone 010 - 179 09 30 before picking up.

Standard shipping Scandinavia (DK/FI) - 10€ / 99kr, Environmental shipping 11€ / 109kr, and Free shipping on orders over 100€ / 1000kr
Standard shipping to other Europe - 20€ / 199kr, Environmental shipping 21€ / 209kr, and free shipping on orders over 1500kr.

Orders are shipped with DHL Parcel Connect (including Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria). Not applicable to Åland, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands.

Delivery Status

You will receive a Colli-ID (tracking number) sent to you via email if you choose PostNord. You can then track your package via the link in the email or the PostNord app "PostNord", or the app "Mina Paket". If you choose DHL as the carrier, you will receive a text message with the tracking number when your package arrives at your nearest agency, and you can also track your package here via the "Mina Paket" app.

Regardless of the carrier, you will receive an email when your package is shipped from us, and a notification (SMS) when your package has arrived at the pickup location you selected. If you have not provided a mobile number, you will receive a letter notification, which takes an extra 1-2 days.

Uncollected Item

Orders will be held for collection at DHL agencies for 14 days and PostNord agencies for 7 days from arrival before being returned to our warehouse. If an order is returned to our warehouse, customer service will contact you for a new delivery. Umara reserves the right to charge you as a customer 150kr for return costs, which is typically done via deduction from the invoice (if you chose invoice as the payment method) when it is credited. Please note that if you order via invoice, the invoice period runs even if you have not collected the package.

If you chose payment via card or bank, the full amount will be refunded to your bank account and the return cost will be charged to you as a customer via an invoice sent to the email provided at the time of the order.

For Home Delivery, delivery attempts will be made at the time you specified for them to come. If they are unable to deliver to you, the package will be sent to a nearby agency and you will receive a notification about this.

Payment

Payment

Payment is made via Svea Checkout and their secure payment solutions. In Svea Checkout, depending on which country you are shopping from, you can choose to pay via bank transfer, card, Swish, invoice, or installment payment according to the current applicable terms for Svea installment payment. Information about their payment solutions and your accumulated purchases via Svea Bank AB (publ) 556158-7634 can be found on My pages at Svea. Your order history with us can always be found at My Account.

Delivery Time

Normal delivery time is 1-3 business days.

Orders placed before 14:00 (DHL) or 15:00 (Postnord), where all items are in stock, are usually shipped the same day; otherwise, the following business day.

Deliveries within Götaland and Svealand are often delivered the next business day if the order is placed before the cutoff time.

Deliveries to Norrland (North of Sundsvall, at least) and islands without bridge connections (e.g., Gotland) as well as small towns in rural areas take an additional 1-2 days for delivery. During long weekends, delivery may take a bit longer.

Order 

Order Confirmation

To shop at Umara, you need to be at least 15 years old (18 years old to pay with invoice or credit card). By completing your purchase and approving your order, you also agree to these terms and conditions, and a binding agreement is formed. Upon receiving your order, an order confirmation will automatically be sent via email with information about the order. The order confirmation serves as a receipt/warranty for your order. Umara reserves the right to withhold delivery in cases where the stock balance was incorrect at the time of the customer’s order. If Umara cannot deliver as per the order confirmation, you will be contacted via email regarding this.

NOTE: Unfortunately, we have no ability to adjust/change your order after it has been placed. If you discover that something is wrong after placing your order and you urgently want to adjust it, please contact [email protected] and we will assist you.

Prices and Order Amount

All product prices on umarasports.com are given including VAT. Shipping costs are added in the shopping cart/checkout except in cases where free shipping applies. Umara AB reserves the right for any price and printing errors.

Right of Withdrawal

If you regret your purchase or for any other reason do not wish to complete the purchase, please contact customer service and we will assist you. The normal right of withdrawal of 14 days from receiving the item applies according to the Consumer Purchase Act.


Returns are handled by Umara at a cost of 75 SEK.


Delivery Errors

Sometimes errors occur during packaging. If you have received something you did not order, or if something you ordered is missing, or if the contents of the order delivered do not match your order confirmation, please contact our customer service and we will resolve it. 

When contacting us, please state your order number, a description of what you received, and attach a picture of the delivered item.

Complaints

For complaints, always contact our customer service. Umara applies the Consumer Purchase Act when handling complaints. A product can only be complained about in case of manufacturing defects such as an unsealed packaging, leakage of contents, or similar. Disliking the taste is not a valid reason for a complaint, but still contact us at customer service and we will see what we can do.

Items in the "Bargain Corner" cannot be complained about due to the defects stated on the product.

Claim the item immediately after discovering the fault and we will send a new, faultless item. If the fault cannot be remedied, a refund will be issued.

In the event of a dispute, we will follow the recommendations of the General Complaints Board (ARN).

Force Majeure

Umara AB is exempt from the obligation to fulfill its part of the agreement and from the obligation to pay damages if Umara’s commitments cannot be fulfilled at all or only at abnormally high costs due to war, riots, blockades, fire, explosions, virus pandemics, interventions/decisions by public authorities, or similar societal disruptive events that could not have been foreseen. Umara AB is not responsible for damage resulting from statutory requirements, authorities' actions, war events, strikes, blockades, boycotts, lockouts, or other similar circumstances. The reservation regarding strikes, blockades, boycotts, and lockouts also applies if Umara AB is the subject of or itself initiates such conflict measures.
